Overcharge on utility bill

City: Elliot Lake, Ontario
 
Complaint: My most recent "Estimate" hydro bill was more than 8 times
that I used during the same period a year ago. i.e. last year I used 2
kWh per day, and this year, they say I used 17 kWh. I wrote to Laura
Formusa, Hydro\'s CEO over two weeks ago, but have not had a reply,
and the money has already been taken out of my bank account. I used an
air conditioner during this period last year, but \'have not done so
this year! How can they possibly estimate that I have used this amount
of electricity! Impossible! Without an explanation, they still took
the money out of my bank account!

I would appreciate anything you can do.
